Camp Policy
Day Use and Overnight Policies
Group leaders will be responsible to communicate and uphold these policies while at the camp.
Conduct - Profane language, alcohol consumption, smoking, gambling, fireworks, damaging property, harming wildlife or nature, placing self or others in danger are strictly prohibited.
Swimming - is permitted only when a camp approved, certified lifeguard is on duty. Posted swimming rules must be strictly followed for the safety of all. Modest bathing suits are required.
Hiking - Climbing up or down cliff areas is prohibited. Stream hikers must be in excellent physical shape. Please stay on marked trails unless you are familiar with the layout of the camp.
Damages to AEC property - Group leaders will be responsible to pay for damages done to AEC buildings or property beyond normal werar and tear.
Garbage/Recyclables- Garbage and recycling receptacles are available for those staying in the Moosewood Lodge and Shaded Nook Cabin. Pavilion renters, tenters, and day-users must carry out all garbage.
Cabins and Lodges - Unless you are an overnight group, stay out of the cabins and lodges while at the camp. If you would like a tour of the facilities please coordinate with camp staff.
Lost Items - The camp is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please secure all valuables.
Dogs- Dogs are permitted on the premises if they are leashed and a copy of their most recent rabies shot is made available to camp staff. Dogs and other pets are not permitted in the buildings.
Check-In/Check Out Times Overnight Lodgers may check in at 3 PM and check out at 11 AM. Extensions on check-in, check-out times must be approved by the camp staff prior to the overnight stay.
Refund Policy
A full refund will be made if a group cancels 60 days before a scheduled event
A partial refund of 50% of the deposit will be made if group cancels 30 or more days before an event.
Sorry, no refunds available for cancellations made 29 days or less before a scheduled event.
