CAMP POLICIES

Conduct: Illegal activities, profane language, alcohol consumption, gambling, fireworks, damaging property, harming wildlife or nature, placing self or others in danger are strictly prohibited.

Smoking: Allowed only in stone lots or near fire rings. Butts must be placed in fire rings or ash cans. NO smoking in the woods or in buildings.

Swimming: Swimming permitted only when a camp approved, certified lifeguard is on duty. Posted swimming rules must be strictly followed for the safety of all. Modest, one piece bathing suits are required.

Hiking: Climbing up or down steep embankments or cliff areas is prohibited. Please stay on marked trails unless you are familiar with the layout of the camp.

Dogs: Must be on a 6 ft. or shorter leash or caged at all times. Pets are not permitted in the buildings.

Damages to AEC property: Users and group leaders will be responsible to pay for any loss, theft, or damages to buildings or property beyond normal wear and tear.

Fire Extinguishers: To be used only for uncontrolled fires outside fire rings. Charges shall be applied for any other dispensing of extinguishers. Users are responsible for any fires they initiate and any damage they may cause.

Garbage/Recyclables: Carry In-Carry Out policy for tent sites users, pavilion renters, and day users.

Cabin, Lodge & Bathhouse: Use of the cabin or lodge is only permitted for each individual who has paid the overnight fee for that particular unit. If you would like a tour of the facilities please coordinate with camp staff. Please note that the "Bathhouse", accessed via the back side door of the Moosewood Lodge, is open to all registered guests.

Lost Items: AEC is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please secure valuables in your vehicles in non-visible areas.

Check In-Check Out times: For Overnight lodging, check in at 3pm, check out 11am.

Inspection: Adams Eden Camp reserves the right to inspect any personal belongings, bags, and lodging areas on this property for contraband or unregistered guests. Guests must identify themselves and their intentions if identity is questioned by any other person requesting.

ATVs:ATVs, dirt bikes, or any other motorized off-road vehicles are not allowed on this property without written permission. An arrest affidavit has been established for the immediate arrest of any such operator.

Ropes Course: Use of the Ropes Course is strictly prohibited without the direct supervision of authorized personnel.

Trespassing: All people entering the front gate must be registered and pay applicable fee upon entering. This includes anyone visiting registered guests. Unregistered guests and persons not registering immediately upon entering will be accessed a fine of $50 per person and must leave the property immediately.

Glass and disposable cans and bottles: are not permitted on the trails, only reusable canisters.

The Blue Hole: Jumping into or swimming in the upper Blue Hole (the first major falls on the stream trail) without an authorized AEC lifeguard on duty will result in a $50 fine per person and immediate removal from the property without refund.

Supervision: Children under 16 must be supervised by a responsible adult. Supervising Adults are responsible for the actions and safety of children they supervise.

Posted signs: All posted signs must be adhered to by all users.

Liability: Applicants and registered guests will be responsible to communicate and uphold these policies to all persons in their group while at the camp. Guests failing to abide by the rules will be required to leave the premises without refund
